LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American musician and singer. Alison Krauss started her musical career at a young age, winning local competitions at the age of 10. The singer-songwriter recorded her first recording at the age fourteen. She was signed in 1985 to Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. In addition, she was invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. Later, in 1989 her debut solo album was released in conjunction with the band.
