Lindsey Vonn is an American skier who was born on the 18th of October, 1984. Her retirement came in 2010 after having won the four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal in downhill skiing. She has the second highest super score among all skiers, female and male. She's one of the top skiers in the world and is also the most loved skier in America. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. There have been four occasions she was awarded the title of winner in the World Cup overall competition. The athlete who has made her name within American culture. She is one of only six females who have won at all five World Cup competitions in alpine. All told, she has been awarded the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. A world-class skier and one of the most successful ski racers have decided to retire after the World Championships, which are taking place in Sweden.
