Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. Her father and mother were both English. Her family was raised in a council estate located south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. At school, she was a part-time actor in several stage productions, like King Henry V's princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley could never walk but she was able to dance. As she was two and a half, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. When she was in high school, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among the few.
