Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. There are more than 20 albums that have been released by her. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk, alternative and rock but also has influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as the feminist's icon, and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the creator in DIY music. It was one of the first artists to establish the label she created in 1990. DiFranco born on 23 September 1970 in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who came across Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both from Montreal descent.
