Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who used to be an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor at Law, New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst for National Public Radio's program along with The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs as well as hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's qualification in law from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literature Studies from the University of Queensland (1985) as well as an Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She was a NPR legal correspondent. She served as Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 until 2001, she served as a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and the year 2017 Wiehl worked as an attorney analyst at Fox News.
