Sharp was born and raised within Rochester (New York) and was a fervent student of the world of music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet as well as piano. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing in high school was what led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she was given the scholarship. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. Sharp was a part of the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp was Abyssinia and Aida in the theatre in addition. In addition to her work on the screen and stage, Sharp has several other unique projects she has written or co-written. She continues to sing, and she has an album of her own in production. Sharp enjoys staying fit and stays in great shape by studying Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp resides with her husband and children and lives in Los Angeles.
