Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano voice and has a talent of writing songs with emotional inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and the artful independent music. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big recording deal. The album she released was set to release.
